Benefits of Sun Screens
Exterior shading is one of the most effective ways to slash cooling costs in Arizona.
Maximum Heat Reduction: Fixed sun screens reduce solar heat gain by up to 65% on south-facing windows and up to 77% on west-facing windows.
Significant Energy Savings: Homes with proper shading can reduce total cooling energy use by 15-22% in Phoenix specifically.
HVAC Longevity: Reducing unwanted heat gain by up to 60% helps your AC run less often, lowering annual HVAC energy consumption by an average of 15%.
Window Sun Screens vs. Residential Window Tinting
Sun Screens outperform window tinting in heat reduction, energy efficiency, privacy, glass safety, and long-term value.
Tinting is better for UV protection alone, but sun screens deliver a more comprehensive solution for comfort and savings.

DIY Installation: Fixed Sun Screen Panels
Before You Start: Measurement Basics
The measurements you provide will be used to make your custom panel, so accuracy is key.
- Width: Submit the exact width from edge to edge of your panel’s frame.
- Measure from outside: Always take measurements from the exterior of your building.
- Multiple panels? Label each one clearly to avoid mix-ups.
For Stucco Walls
- Width: Measure from the outside edge of the channel across to the outer edge of the stationary glass panel. Your sun screen frame should match the size of the stationary glass panel.
- Height: Measure from the top edge above the channel down to the bottom of the bottom track.
For Block Walls
- Width: Same as stucco—measure from the outside edge of the channel to the outer edge of the stationary glass panel.
- Height: From the top edge above the channel down to the bottom of the bottom track.
Pro Tip: Double-check your measurements before submitting. A precise fit means a smooth installation and a professional look!

Golf Ball Impact Screen Upgrade
If your home sits near a golf course or fairway, a wayward golf ball can mean costly window damage. Our Golf Ball Protection Screen upgrade options are custom-built to provide powerful impact resistance while maintaining clear visibility and style.
Built for Real Protection
Our screens are constructed with ultra-strong mesh and rugged frames engineered to deflect golf balls and resist impact, safeguarding your glass and exterior surfaces from accidental strikes. They outperform temporary fixes like plexiglass and other coverings because they’re designed specifically to absorb and redirect force, not just block it.
Custom-Fit, Durable Screening
Each protection screen is measured and fabricated for your exact window size for a seamless fit. These systems deliver long-lasting performance and preserve natural light and outdoor views, so you enjoy peace of mind without sacrificing aesthetics.
Why Choose Golf Ball Protection Screens?
- High-strength materials built to handle severe impact.
- Clear visibility so you can still enjoy your view.
- Custom-built to fit your home’s unique openings.
- Better than plexiglass or temporary covers that can still fail under strain.
