The Red <\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">Camera is a huge leap in High Definition and offers a lot of creativity to both the DP and the editor.  While at the<\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"> tr<\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">ack Skip and Tom tried out a number of configurations; they used an 8mm prime l<\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">ens for footage on the grid, a Canon 4.7 wide angle and a 21X long lens for ENG, and an Angenieux 25 to 250 cine-zoom long lens for some high speed trackside footage.  While the camera<\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"> is designed with a PL mount, Tom rented a<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/12194334\/DSC03830-1.jpg\" onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5195046395511320834\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 181px; height: 135px;\" src=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/12194334\/DSC03830.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><span style=\"font-family:arial;\"> PL-B4 adapter from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abelcine.com\/store\/home.php\">Abel-Cinetech<\/a> so they could mo<\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">unt their ENG lenses to the camera.  And as with all things prototype, there are still some bugs to <\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">work out.  With no viewfinder available, Tom &amp; Skip had to use the Red monitor for shooting; this made an already large rig that much more cumbersome.  But the weekend was still a success, great footage from <\/span><span style=\"font-family:arial;\">trackside and a great Victory Lane celebration from Kyle Busch.
