If not, you need to check them out. After spending a day with their team and learning what they do, we have to say, we\u2019re blown away!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In case you\u2019re wondering, NCAR Stands for &#8211; National Center for Atmospheric Research.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simply put, The NCAR Jet is an airborne lab that flies all over the world. The Jet can reach 51,000 feet and enable scientists to collect water data from the tops of storms as well as the lower edges of the stratosphere. Pretty dang cool if you ask us!!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go To Teams <a href=\"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/locations\/denver-colorado-video-production-camera-crew\/\">Denver DP<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/staff-crews\/denver-colorado-director-of-photography-production-video-camera-crew\/\">Ryan Dumville<\/a>, teamed up with Mission Unstoppable\u2018s Erica Hernandez to go aboard a research aircraft at the NCAR facility in Broomfield, Colorado.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ryan spent the day with Erica and a lead scientist as they walked us through the jets purpose, capabilities, and instrumentation, as well as, the lab machines on the ground study the water samples.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-42235 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/09130705\/IMG_3865-400x300.jpeg\" alt=\"Go To Team Denver Crew | Mission Unstoppable - NCAR\" width=\"531\" height=\"398\" srcset=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/09130705\/IMG_3865-400x300.jpeg 400w, http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/09130705\/IMG_3865-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/09130705\/IMG_3865-800x600.jpeg 800w, http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/09130705\/IMG_3865-700x525.jpeg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cNeedless to say we were awestruck. Imagine flying from daylight Into complete totality (darkness) for 12 minutes from the air and back to daylight again. It was the coolest video I\u2019ve ever seen of an eclipse so far.\u201d &#8211; Ryan Dumville<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our crew used Sony F5 camera to capture the shots for this episode of Mission Unstoppable. They started the day by filming in an airplane hangar, which was very well lit and made shooting the exterior of the planes a breeze. The rest of the day was filled with lots of show and tell and walk and talk style coverage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Challenges were faced once the shoot moved into the interior of the plane because it was very cramped to film in. That said, Go To Team crews are trained for these exact scenarios and handled the challenge gracefully.\u00a0 To offset the small space, our crew bounced some LED panels off of the ceiling to provide a nice wash of diffused light for our correspondent and guest.
