There is nothing more frightening than when a news story is released about a missing child. Entire communities can feel the pain of the families who have been affected by these experiences and have worked together to create systems that help find victims and return them home.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Waco<\/p>\n

Amber Alert is the national system that helps find victims of abduction cases. The system was first launched in 1996 when Dallas-Fort Worth broadcasters teamed with local police to develop an early warning system to help find abducted children. AMBER stands for America’s Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response and was created as a legacy to 9-year-old Amber Hagerman<\/span><\/p>\n

\"Waco<\/p>\n

NCMEC, the National Center for Missing and Exploited, wanted to tell one powerful story of Patricia and her daughter, Rae Leigh. Rae was kidnapped back in 1998 and was the first child who was successfully recovered using the Amber Alert System.<\/span><\/p>\n

Later this year, Rae will receive NCMEC\u2019s \u201cHope Award\u201d. The National Center worked with Go To Team\u2019s Waco<\/a> DP, Roger Woodruff<\/a>, to help tell this chilling yet amazing story. <\/span><\/p>\n

Crews shot interviews with the Sony F5 and the Canon 70-200mm for the interviews. They lit the subjects with a couple of Astra 6x\u2019s and the background was lit using Arri lights, as well as CTB gels.<\/span><\/p>\n
