There are heroes amongst us in the shopping malls, but they were especially present at The Mall of Georgia just 30-miles northeast of Atlanta.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mall of Georgia is the largest shopping mall in the Metropolitan Area and has more than two hundred stores. \u00a0Every day countless retail customers enjoy shopping here. <\/span><\/p>\n

Macy\u2019s, being one of the mall\u2019s anchor stores, is a destination store for many of these shoppers. \u00a0But what happens when someone interrupts the peaceful flow of shopping at the mall?<\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, a robber was accused of stealing more than $10,000 worth of merchandise from stores across the state. \u00a0Go To Team\u2019s Atlanta<\/a> DP, Nate Silverman<\/a>, went behind the scenes to find out how employees deal with such a theft. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Silverman helped to shoot a promotional video that highlighted The Mall of Georgia\u2019s Asset Protection program. \u00a0Interviews with employees helped shed light on what steps are taken in this situation. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Asset Protection program focuses on external theft. \u00a0These employees are devoted to protecting the Macy\u2019s brand and merchandise. \u00a0These employees are truly the heroes in the stores. <\/span><\/p>\n

Silverman used an F5 camera and two Generay Lite-Panels to set up the perfect shot. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our crew enjoyed collaborating with Macy\u2019s on this project that emphasized the importance of safety in our shopping malls. We look forward to working with them again in the future!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
