My week leading up to the Super Bowl<\/a> started off on a very cool note.\u00a0 I had the distinct honor of shooting all fifty-one Super Bowl rings for the NFL Network<\/a>.\u00a0 My producer had been working on a bunch of features surrounding various stories about Super Bowl rings.\u00a0 With all the interviews in the can, he just needed pretty B-roll of all the\u00a0 Super Bowl rings and various close-ups and extreme close-up shots of rings.<\/p>\n I was booked with the Sony<\/a> F55 and shot S-Log3 in 2K.\u00a0 We rented a ton of Canon<\/a> macro lenses and a Dana Dolly.\u00a0 We used the Dana Dolly for the main shot.\u00a0 The main shot involved the camera floating past all fifty rings and landing on the Super Bowl fifty-one ring which was a \u201cmock-up\u201d the producer had made exclusively for this shoot.\u00a0 The Dana Dolly was crucial for this shot as it allowed us to mount the camera underneath the dolly.<\/p>\n Once we completed the Dana Dolly shots we moved on to a variety of close-ups.\u00a0 This is where we were able to utilize all the cool macro lenses I rented.\u00a0 I used the 100mm, 180mm, and 65mm to capture a bunch of macro shots.\u00a0 It was really fun to be using different lenses.\u00a0 It was a great learning experience as I don\u2019t generally do a lot of macro photography type shoots.<\/p>\n The coolest setup, aside from the Dana Dolly shot, was when we shot the Super Bowl fifty-one ring with the Patriots\u2019<\/a> and Falcons\u2019<\/a> football helmets in the background.\u00a0 Those shots turned out really well.\u00a0 We even did a variation where we \u201cwagged\u201d the key light in and out.\u00a0 This essentially caused a \u201clight-house\u201d effect in which the ring gets revealed.<\/p>\n My week leading up to the Super Bowl started off on a very cool note.\u00a0 I had the distinct honor of shooting all fifty-one Super Bowl rings for the NFL Network.\u00a0 My producer had been working on a bunch of features surrounding various stories about Super Bowl rings.\u00a0 With all the interviews in the can, […]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":46,"featured_media":30093,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[139,140],"tags":[3030,3377,141,3412,8,3411,1015,114,3413,117,1590,2482,353,3414,3387,3409,1333,81,354,3397,3408,138,84,3410],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/30089"}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/46"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=30089"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/30089\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/30093"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=30089"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=30089"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=30089"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}![\"Super](\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/12191723\/unnamed-5-400x300.jpg\")

<\/p>\n\n\nWe had a late call time so we didn\u2019t wrap until about\u00a02 am<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 The late night was totally worth it.\u00a0 The next day I picked up an additional day for the NFL Network.\u00a0 I traveled to different sets in Houston and shot behind the scenes B-roll of the sets being constructed.\u00a0 That turned out to be only a half day.\u00a0 After wrapping with the NFL Network it was time to prepare for a week with Nickelodeon<\/a>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
