{"id":22608,"date":"2015-08-17T10:00:20","date_gmt":"2015-08-17T14:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/?p=22608"},"modified":"2016-05-15T11:54:09","modified_gmt":"2016-05-15T15:54:09","slug":"miami-crew-teams-up-with-game-changer-vince-carter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/120.72.95.94:55167\/assignmentdesk\/site\/2015\/miami-crew-teams-up-with-game-changer-vince-carter\/","title":{"rendered":"Miami Crew Teams Up With Game Changer Vince Carter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/12202344\/Vince-Carter-600x336.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-22609\" src=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/12202344\/Vince-Carter-600x336.jpg\" alt=\"Vince Carter\" width=\"600\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When you think of Daytona Beach what comes to your mind?<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it\u2019s NASCAR\u2019s Daytona 500, Daytona Beach or basketball icon Vince Carter.<\/p>\n<p>I had the opportunity to travel up the Florida coast to Daytona for a segment about Vince Carter Youth Basketball Academy for the CBS program \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamechangers.com\">Game Changers<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Carter qualifies as a \u2018Game Changer\u2019 for his many philanthropic achievements in the Daytona community.<\/p>\n<p>The 6\u20196\u201d professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies not only created the Vince Carter Youth Basketball Academy but also established <a href=\"http:\/\/vincecarter15.com\">The Embassy of Hope Foundation<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The CBS segment included the coverage of the 2015 Vince Carter Youth basketball Academy, interviews with participants and coaches along with a one-on-one interview with the philanthropist himself, Mr. Vinsanity.<\/p>\n<p>During the interview Carter made a point to mention that the basketball academy is more than just learning the game of basketball. It\u2019s about life\u2019s lessons and the importance of a good education.<\/p>\n<p>The most challenging part of this particular shoot was the amount of time we had to execute it. We had to quickly get interviews with campers and their coaches on their way out of the facility. Needless to say, this was our only opportunity to do the interviews.<\/p>\n<p>These interviews were shot with the available exterior daylight and the use of a Flex fill bounce to fill in those high noon shadows!<\/p>\n<p>We used a Canon C300 with a 24-70mm lens for the B-Roll and a 70-200mm lens for Carter\u2019s interview to get the shallow depth of field that we needed in order to get the blurred background look that the producers were going for.\u00a0 I also used my 300 and (2) 150 Arri lights to light Vince&#8217;s background.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/assets.gototeam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/12202341\/114.jpg\">\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When you think of Daytona Beach what comes to your mind?
