It seemed appropriate for me to make the drive from Nashville to Atlanta for an \u201cUnsung\u201d shoot with 90\u2019s hip-hop group, Arrested Development, considering one of their biggest hits was \u201cTennessee.\u201d\u00a0 Armed with a HDX 900 and Z1U I headed to ATL for three days of shooting interviews.<\/p>\n I was really excited to be shooting for \u201cUnsung\u201d again.\u00a0 It\u2019s such a cool show.\u00a0 It\u2019s basically a \u201cBehind the Music \u201c but for groups who VH1 wouldn\u2019t normal put the spotlight on.\u00a0 For three days we shot interviews with group members, managers, and music journalists.<\/p>\n \u201cUnsung\u201d has a very specific look for their interviews.\u00a0 \u00a0They like the background to have a vibrant color with an abstract pattern for some\u00a0texture.\u00a0 After my last \u201cUnsung\u201d shoot I went out and got some more gels so I was well stocked for almost twenty interviews.<\/p>\n The HDX 900 was set up to get a medium shot while the Z1U got a close up.\u00a0 As I\u2019m sure you can imagine, we went through a bunch of tapes!\u00a0 The nicest thing about the shoot was that because we were in one of those large hotel conference rooms we not only got the depth we needed but were able to lock all of our equipment safely when we finished day one and day two.\u00a0 I look forward to the next \u201cUnsung\u201d shoot.<\/p>\n \n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" It seemed appropriate for me to make the drive from Nashville to Atlanta for an \u201cUnsung\u201d shoot with 90\u2019s hip-hop group, Arrested Development, considering one of their biggest hits was \u201cTennessee.\u201d\u00a0 Armed with a HDX 900 and Z1U I headed to ATL for three days of shooting interviews.
