About Jalen :
- What cameras and equipment have you worked with the most?
I have worked with Canon, Sony, and Black Magic Design products throughout the years. My main setup now is Sony. The Sony FX9 is my A-Cam and the FS5 is my B-Cam. I have a variety of lenses to cover any situation including the Sony 28-135mm servo lens. For lighting I run with Nanlite’s Forza 300’s and bi-color Forza 60’s. I also have Aladdin light mats, and tube lights that can add extra light that may be needed for a scene. ‘
- Do you specialize in a specific shoot style?
I would have to say I don’t specialize in any one style but I really like to shoot documentaries and following a story.
- How long have you been filming?
I’ve been filming for 5 years now.
- Do you have a favorite project you’ve worked on?
My favorite project thus far has been a feature documentary called “Messwood”. This was my first camera operator credit!
