Condoleezza “Condi” Rice has officially come full circle in her career and it was a pleasure to work with her in such a relaxed setting for a brand new episode of Feherty on Golf Channel.

Rice began her career working as a professor at Stanford University. She then served as Secretary of State under President George W. Bush. She was the first African-American woman to hold that position, the second African-American to hold that position after Colin Powell, and the second woman to hold that position after Madeleine Albright. Since serving her country, she’s returned to her position at Stanford University.

Rice joined David Feherty on his show to talk about her passion of teaching, promote her new book, “Democracy: Stories from the Long Road to Freedom,” out this May, and of course, play a little golf. For such a prestigious woman, she was very mellow and a great person to work with. Feherty does a great job of making people feel comfortable and it really shows in each fun and interesting episode.
