Denver, Colorado – Director of Photography – Ryan Dumville

About Ryan

Ryan Dumville | Denver Video Camera Crew
  • What cameras do you work with the most?
I work mostly on the Sony F5 and F55
  • Do you specialize in a specific shoot style?
I shoot it all at Go To Team. Sports features are probably my specialty if I had to choose one.
  • How long have you been filming?

Great question. Professionally 8 years but going back in time a bit, Dad always had 35mm film cameras around. One year he bought a Sony Hi-8 camcorder and my older brother and I would make surf films when we were teenagers and edit them together in windows movie maker.

  • Do you have a favorite project you’ve worked on? What made it your favorite?

I would say that has to live coverage of the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse from Grand Teton National Park.  It was awe-inspiring, experiencing nighttime in the middle of the day. The Grand Tetons just so happened to be placed on the path of totality.  The views and scenery in and around the park were amazing. Really awesome project in a beautiful location.
