It’s All Star Weekend baby! Reporting live from the Hilbert Circle Theatre, Chicago DP, EJ Watson, was there with The Volume shooting an episode of the Club 520 Podcast starring former NBA All-Star Jeff Teague.
This was a two camera shoot, the wide shot executed with a Sony FS5II and the tight on our star with the FX9. The stage was quite large as you would imagine, so EJ had to post up a little off center to avoid blocking the view of the crowd. Sound was taken from the house sound board, and sent wirelessly to both cameras. After set up, all we needed was a compelling conversation, a little crowd interaction, and some great laughs. Club 520 delivered that and then some in a successful shoot with The Volume.
