“Walmart and the Walmart Foundation Commit $25 Million to Global COVID-19 Response Effort”
Go To Team crews worked with Walmart to help cover this response effort across America. Florida, Michigan & Illinois were a few of the states we helped tell this story in. Go To Team shoot b-roll of Walmart trucks full of gloves, masks, and shoe covers – In Michigan, our Cleveland cameraman, Jordan Woods, said “Once the trucks arrived I began filming them pulling up to the loading dock and unloading the pallets of supplies. I was off the shoulder for the whole shoot with the 24-105 lens on my camera. I chose that lens because I wanted to be able to use the OIS and I felt like the ambient light level was more then adequate for the f4 of that lens.”
Practicing social distancing is very important on our shoots to avoid any contact between our crew members and talent. Our crews also did do a few “on the fly” interviews once the unloading process of the trucks was done. For those the subjects were positioned against the wall of unloaded supplies and our crews used a boom stand to hold a boom mic to avoid mic’ing subjects.
