After just one year in the NBA, Trae Young has some impressive stats under his belt.

Young spent just one year playing college basketball with the Oklahoma Sooners before being the fifth overall pick in the 2018 draft to the Dallas Mavericks. Even though he wasn’t playing college ball for long, Trae had no problem shattering records in the NCAA. By the end of his college season, he became the first and only player to ever lead the NCAA in both points and assists in a single season. He was then traded to the Atlanta Hawks, where he spent his first professional season.

For the ESPN China series, Roaming NBA, Trae Young sat down with ESPN China correspondent, Coral Lu, to talk about the success of his first season as a professional player. To capture the interview, ESPN brought in Go To Team’s Atlanta DP, Nate Silverman, to capture the interview with the Hawks superstar.

Nate captured the interview on a Sony F5 and FS5 camera at the Hawks practice facility in Atlanta. Since the interview was set up in their studio, our crew used the studio lighting against a black and red backdrop with the Hawks logo being shined on it. The Sony F5 used the Fuji MK 18-55mm lens, while the Sony FS5 used the Canon 16-35mm EF lens. After Nate shot the interviews, they went on the court for a quick walk and talk and also shot a stand up outside the practice facility.
