St. Louis Crew | Dalton Agency-Vaccinate Your Family

Vaccines have been part of a controversial conversation for quite some time. However, several unfortunate situations show why vaccines are extremely important, especially for children.

The Dalton Agency partnered with Go To Team’s St. Louis Cameraman, Sam Caravana, for the Vaccinate Your Family project.

The crew spent the day telling the story of Katie Vantornhout. Katie’s first born child Callie, passed away after catching whooping cough from a NICU nurse who was not vaccinated. This terrible incident inspired her to become an advocate for stronger vaccination laws in the state of Indiana and across the nation. The crew set up in Katie’s house in South Bend, Indiana, for an interview that highlights the dangers of not receiving important vaccinations.St. Louis Crew | Vaccines

We set up with a Kino Flo Diva 400 as the key light and used LED panels for fill, as well as mixing accent lights in the background. We shot the whole thing on a Canon C300. In addition to the interview, the crew shot b-roll of Katie interacting with her children. We used stick mics ensure we had quality audio for this very moving interview.
