T’is the season for kids to head back to school, and it’s time to have one last hoo-rah before hitting the books. But, have no fear! American record labels Quality Control and Capitol Records are here to help you get ready for the upcoming year and celebrate!
How so? Capitol Records recently hosted the Quality Control BaQC to School Block Party in Atlanta, Georgia, where they were distributing school supplies, book bags, gift cards, free raffles, and other goods. The event also featured hip-hop sensation, Lil Yachty (say what?!).
The coolest part (to us at least)? Capitol Records worked with Go To Team’s Atlanta DP, Nate Silverman, to help capture it all!
The crew captured b-roll of the kids playing carnival games, getting haircuts, receiving book bags and school supplies, while listening to music and dancing at this pop-up party in Atlanta. He interviewed artists and label executives about what it means to give back to the community. All footage was captured on an A7sii (installed on a Ronin-S) and Sony F5.
