One of my favorite aspects of being a cameraman is traveling. Thanks to GTT I’ve managed to get closer and closer to visiting all 50 states. With my trip to Utah in the books, I only have nine states to go. I was so excited to make the trip to Park City, UT for Golf Channel. I was shooting for the Feherty show again. This show is always a blast to work on. David Feherty is a hoot and the crew is always solid. This time around we setup for a long format interview with golf pro, Mark O’Meara. The day started with an early morning drive to O’Meara’s house just outside Park City. We were shooting on the Sony F55. I love working with this camera. We set up for the interview in Mr. O’Meara’s living room. The living room was open and it had an excellent view of the mountains. |
After the interview, the DP and one of the camera ops headed downstairs to shoot an additional scene with Feherty and O’Meara. I was sent outside to shoot scenics of the countryside. I also checked in on two GoPro time-lapses I had set up earlier. Once shooting concluded we rushed to pack up and put Mr. O’Meara’s living room back in order. It was long before we officially wrapped. I made the drive back to Salt Lake City afterward and spent the night right by the airport due to an early morning flight. I always look forward to the next Golf Channel shoot. I love shooting for this client. Check out more from Feherty here! |
