Rock me like a hurricane!

DAY 1: We camped out in Tampa, FL waiting for Hurricane Hermine to make landfall with The Weather Channel. The category 1 hurricane is slow but certain to approach Florida with a monsoon of rainfall.

I always enjoy shooting with The Weather Channel because you never know what to expect, but I made sure to wear my rain boots. On the first day, I shot live hits on a pier by Hillsborough Bay with TWC’s Meteorologist Maria LaRosa.

DAY 2: We traveled up the coast to Tallahassee, where we’ve been shooting live hits at The Edison as Hermine is expected to make landfall in the evening.

DAY 3: Covering the early bird shift shooting with meteorologist Reynolds Wolf as Hermine made her debut at 2:30 a.m. as the first hurricane to hit Florida for the first time in over a decade.
