One of the coolest things about this job is that everyday is different. This time I found myself in Anderson, SC at the Delta Machinery Factory for Cool Tools. I was shooting on the HDX 900. I spent the first day shooting a tour of how their radial saw and table saw are made. The complicated process required both the producer and I to make sure every step is carefully covered.
The second day of shooting began with the set up for an interview with the president of Delta Power Equipment. After the interview I filmed beauty shots of the two new power tools plus a few products from Delta’s past. We finished the day with a demo of each saw. I love these kind of shoots. Not only does a cool factory become your office for the day but you also learn something. I’m definitely looking forward to the next Cool Tools shoot!
