Just like in the movies I found myself off to St. Louis, however I wasn’t meeting up with Judy Garland. Turner Sports needed a crew out there and the Nashville crew jumped at the chance. We ended up at the home of Edward “Easy Ed” Macauley. Easy Ed was the MVP at the very first NBA All-Star game back in 1951. I had a blast setting up for this interview at Ed’s house. There was so much classic NBA memorabilia to work with, it was a dream come true. The interview was shot on the Panasonic HDX 900. The stories that Ed told were classic. I was lucky enough to hear them first hand, you guys will have to wait for TNT’s coverage of the All-Star Game in February.
