Lakeshore Now Services Nearly a Quarter of a Million Households in the Midwest

In 2018 alone, LRS has experienced expansive municipal growth, with five new municipalities joining the LRS family. With the municipal additions of the Village of Hinckley, Village of Lisle, City of Geneva, City of St. Charles, City of DeKalb and recent acquisitions, LRS has added nearly 50,000 households this year alone. LRS’ service has further expanded into DuPage, Kane and Cook Counties with these exiting new contracts and acquisitions.

With these new municipalities and acquisitions, LRS is now the exclusive hauler for nearly a quarter of a million households.

Municipalities, such as Lisle and DeKalb, who have had a deep loyalty and reluctance to change service providers for over 30 years, have recognized the value of LRS and are ready to work with us as their sustainable partner of choice.

For LRS it is more than just picking up the waste, recycling and yard waste. It is about creating jobs for DeKalb residents, providing additional economic impact for the City and building the infrastructure in our municipalities.

With the growth that LRS has experienced within this past year and as we continue to expand, LRS’ dedication to providing more sustainable business practices, through our core commitment to not own a landfill, will continue to be LRS’ mission and key differentiator along with delivering exceptional customer service. We not only strive to provide environmentally conscious solutions to the waste industry, but also to provide all of our municipalities with incomparable service.

LRS looks forward to partnering with these new municipal additions to our LRS family. Not only in servicing their waste, recycling and yard waste, but also finding ways to maximize participation in their recycling programs.

Lakeshore looks forward to serving all of our new municipal partners and providing unparalleled, sustainable service options for all of our municipalities’ needs.
